Hatha includes stretching and strengthening poses designed to align and calm your body, mind, and spirit in preparation for meditation. Traditionally, it emphasizes holding poses for longer durations and balancing the body's energies (Ha- sun, or yang energy and ta-moon, or yin energy). Teacher-driven class plans may include focus on breathwork (pranayama), or specific pose (asana).
This class is beginner friendly.
All props used, including mat, are available in studio for student use at no additional charge.
